Job Summary
Role Summary
The EUC OT Engineer (L2) is technical specialist responsible for end-to-end delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of OT End User Computing (EUC) and OT data enablement services across a large, multi-site manufacturing environment.
The role supports multiple OT production sites and large number of OT devices, acting as the second level of technical escalation point (L2) for OT EUC operations, OT device management, edge/gateway platforms, and shopfloor-to-enterprise data flows. The consultant works at the OT–IT boundary, ensuring device availability, data reliability, and service adherence under defined ITSM, SIAM, SLA, and RACI frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the L2 supporting technical authority for OT EUC services across all production sites
· Own and resolve complex and recurring OT EUC incidents beyond L1/L2 capabilities
· Design, maintain, and optimize MDM configurations (Intune/SOTI) to ensure device stability, security, and scalability
· Ensure reliable OT data flow from MES / SCADA / PLC systems to ERP and Cloud platforms
· Operate and troubleshoot Edge & Gateway platforms (e.g., Litmus) to maintain data availability and integrity
· Support OT data storage, backup, replication, and retention in coordination with IT infrastructure teams
· Monitor and report on device health, data quality, and data availability, proactively identifying risks
· Participate in major incident bridges, lead root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes
· Maintain accurate asset and CMDB records for OT devices and gateways
· Contribute to service reporting, SLA reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Mentor L1/L2 engineers and act as the go-to OT EUC consultant for operational and technical guidance
· Work closely with OT, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders within defined RACI and contractual boundaries
Skill Requirements

o OT Data Pipelines: MES / SCADA / PLC → ERP / Cloud
o Edge & Gateway Infrastructure: Plant-level gateways (e.g., Litmus)
o OT Sites
o Handheld Scanners
o Shopfloor Tablets
o Label Printers
· Proven experience supporting OT data integration pipelines, including:
o MES, SCADA, and PLC data ingestion
o Data movement to ERP and/or Cloud platforms
o Understanding OT vs IT responsibility (OT defines data logic; IT ensures recoverability)
· Hands-on experience managing Edge & Gateway infrastructure (e.g., Litmus) to ensure reliable shopfloor-to-enterprise data flow
· Strong working knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) aligned to a SIAM operating model
· Experience acting as L3 escalation for critical OT EUC and data incidents, including participation in 24/7 major incident support
---
2. Secondary Skills Required
· Solid understanding of OT/IT networking concepts, including VLANs, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and firewall coordination
· Experience with OT data storage and infrastructure-level data management, including:
o Backup strategies
o Replication
o Retention policies
o Coordination with IT infrastructure teams to ensure recoverability
· Strong exposure to data quality and availability monitoring, including:
o Monitoring data-transfer success
o Identifying missing, delayed, or corrupted data
o Supporting root-cause analysis with OT teams and vendors
· Experience maintaining asset inventories and CMDB records for OT devices and gateways
· Ability to produce technical service reports, availability dashboards, and SLA inputs
