Complete pre-change health validation, confirm recoverability and perform post-change service, job, backup and replication checks. Maintain complete ServiceNow records, problem records, known-error articles and operational evidence. Database Technology Coverage Microsoft SQL Server Advanced administration across on-premises SQL Server, Azure virtual machines and Azure SQL services. Install, configure, patch and upgrade SQL Server instances and associated services. Administer databases, files, recovery models, maintenance jobs, SQL Server Agent, security and service accounts. Configure and troubleshoot Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances, Replication and Log Shipping. Azure Cosmos DB Operational engineering for availability, throughput, resiliency, monitoring, security and cost-aware performance. Administer Cosmos DB accounts, databases and containers using approved Azure controls. Monitor availability, latency, failed requests, storage, RU consumption, throttling and Azure service-health events. Investigate hot-partition symptoms and partition-distribution concerns and coordinate data-model changes with application and L3 teams. Review indexing-policy impact, throughput configuration, autoscale settings and workload behaviour before approved changes.
