Sr Administrator (Support & Operations)

Job Summary

Administer, maintain, clone, and patch Oracle databases on UNIX (Solaris/Linux) and Oracle Exadata environments, ensuring platform stability and availability.
Perform database administration activities, including SQL/query tuning, resource optimization, and management of database objects and features such as partitioning and data compression.
Support and maintain Oracle High Availability solutions, including RAC and Data Guard, to ensure business continuity and resilience.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, support integrations using JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP technologies, and provide support for Java/Tomcat application environments.
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, storage, network, and business teams while managing database changes in accordance with governance and change control processes.

Skill Requirements

Oracle DBA & Security Ops Exp (Min - 9 Years)
UNIX (Solaris and/or Linux)
-- Oracle Exadata database machine
-- Day to Day DBA activities related to IDAM
-- Database and Query Tuning (SQL and Resource)
-- Database High availability Solutions (RAC / Dataguard)
-- Good understanding of DB Objects (Partitioned Tables) & Features (Data Compression)
-- Coordinating efforts with all stakeholders (customers, users, system administrators, storage management, and network administration teams)
-- Reviewing and obtaining required approvals for all changes in accordance with the EBS change control and review processes
-- Experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, batch files, InstallScript, Wise Script)
-- Knowledge of data interchanges technologies/architectures such as JSON, XML, Restful, SOAP and their support with Oracle products
-- Administer Oracle Databases including cloning and patching
-- Knowledge about JAVA application stack and webserver i.e. Tomcat
-- Good Networking protocol understanding and SSL implementation hands on
