Job Summary

AD Eng. - L2 - Offshore (Decommission)

  • Configure and maintain complex Active Directory forests and domains across a complex network with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects.
  • Work within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests.
  • Create advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting health of Active Directory components.
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance. Conducts complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
  • Monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures for Active Directory.
  • Responsible to manage Azure AD end to end.
  • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
  • Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure management
  • Perform research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems
  • Present clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions
  • Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Ensures systems are healthy, performant, have growth capacity, are secured using appropriate requirements, standards, policies, and laws.
  • Installs, upgrades, patches systems, remediates vulnerabilities of system components, applications and their dependencies and maintains their lifecycles.
  • Develops or assists development of standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures systems are properly made ready for release prior to release into production status using ATO (Authorization to Operate) methods.
  • Oversees AD & Windows Server system resource management, service account management, DNS services and records management, group policy management.
  • Performs system analysis of business requirements and makes recommendations for solutions that align with identity, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Develops or assists with development of team learning strategies.
  • Maintains and defines disaster recovery procedures and participates in disaster recovery tests and actual recoveries as needed.
  • Works on multiple concurrent projects/tasks and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implementation of toolset for visibility into all AD Domains from a single pane of glass
