Job Summary

Job Description – Security Consultant (L2) Lot 5 – Security Operations Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore Experience: 5–7 Years Role Summary The Security Consultant (L2) will be responsible for supporting day-to-day security operations across infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, network, and identity environments. The role focuses on maintaining security controls, supporting vulnerability remediation, monitoring security events, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities • Monitor and support enterprise security operations across servers, endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, and applications. • Investigate and respond to security alerts, events, and incidents in collaboration with Security Operations and infrastructure teams. • Support vulnerability management activities including vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting. • Manage and review security controls related to identity and access management, privileged access, endpoint protection, and network security. • Perform security health checks, security configuration reviews, and operational compliance assessments. • Work with infrastructure, cloud, workplace, and application teams to resolve security findings and reduce risk exposure. • Support implementation and maintenance of security solutions such as EDR, Antivirus, MFA, PAM, SIEM, and IAM tools. • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvement activities. • Monitor security dashboards, generate reports, and provide operational metrics to stakeholders. • Support audit, governance, risk, and compliance activities by maintaining accurate operational documentation and evidence. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening security posture and operational resilience.
