Job Summary

Job Summary : Sr RightAngle - Tech Analyst Role Type - Contract Shift timings - 01:30-10:30 PM Years of Experience - 8-12 years Work From Home - Monday, Work From Office - Tuesday to Friday Job Summary The Senior Technology Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, support, enhancement, and optimization of the (ETRM) platform. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, traders, risk management teams, operations, and technology teams to ensure efficient delivery of RightAngle solutions that support front, middle, and back-office business processes. The position provides advanced functional and technical expertise in RightAngle, drives solution design, leads complex projects, supports production operations, and mentors junior analysts while ensuring system stability, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Overview - Analyze business requirements and translate them into RightAngle functional and technical solutions - Configure and enhance RightAngle modules to support trading, risk, scheduling, settlements, accounting, and reporting function - Lead RightAngle ehancement projects and upgrade - Collaborate with developers to design, test, and deploy customized solutions - Develop functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : Strong knowledge of: - RightAngle architecture - Trading Manager - Operations Manager - Settlement Manager - Accounting modules Strong SQL query development and optimization skills. Knowledge of scripting languages such as: JVS (Java-based scripting in RightAngle) Java Python Shell scripting Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and system interfaces. Understanding of cloud technologies and modern integration platforms.

Other Requirements

Other Requirement : Business Analysis - Partner with Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Scheduling teams to identify business needs - Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions - Recommend best practices and process improvements leveraging RightAngle capabilities - Conduct impact analysis for system changes and new business initiatives Production Support - Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for RightAngle applications. - Troubleshoot application issues, data discrepancies, workflow failures, and integration problems. - Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions. - Support incident, problem, and change management processes. System Integration Support integrations between RightAngle and: - SAP - Market data provider (ZEMA) - Risk and reporting platforms (Bespoke GARM / MDAS / Cube logic) - Scheduling systems (core ETRM, waterborne Vesson etc) - Datalake - Regulatory reporting solutions (NASDAQ / Cube) Ensure data integrity across interconnected systems Technical Leadership - Lead solution architecture discussions - Mentor junior analysts and developers - Establish standards for RightAngle configuration, testing, and documentation - Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development Required Qualifications Education - Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or related field. - Master\'s degree preferred Experience - 10+ years of experience supporting commodity trading and risk management applications - 8+ years of direct RightAngle experience - Experience supporting front-to-back-office business processes - Experience leading teams from small-to-medium projects within ETRM application Technical Skills Strong knowledge of: - RightAngle architecture - Trading Manager - Operations Manager - Settlement Manager - Accounting modules Strong SQL query development and optimization skills. Knowledge of scripting languages such as: JVS (Java-based scripting in RightAngle) Java Python Shell scripting Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and system interfaces. Understanding of cloud technologies and modern integration platforms.
