Key Responsibilities
Experience in Networking and/or Telecommunications related industries preferred Knowledge on Cisco, Juniper, Adtran and Sonus networks, preferred but not required Excellent Oral and Written communication skills (minimum B2 in Berlitz assessments) Apply knowledge of the enterprise, business system and industry to the project team, supporting or interfacing with their program/project or defined set of projects/programs. Provide support in logical configuration of network equipment (both customer premise and network) via thorough routing concepts skill set including Cisco, Juniper, and Nortel and Adtran platforms. Support in executing service fulfillment activities based on the identified SLA, for a given function associated with Verizon CC&S product/services Support in performing service fulfillment activities for a given function with medium to full supervision including: Learn and understand the navigational tools of all the applications needed in the process Observe the SLA’s and performance measurements assigned. Participate in and implement operational excellence initiatives. Escalate issues and seek advice when faced with non standard issues/problems Performs a variety of duties and accountabilities as business need dictates Proficient in navigational tools of all the applications needed in the process Perform data entry and research Execute transactions with minimal direction, enter data and retrieve information from group specific system (all new hires might require some direction initially) Respond to information requests by searching, summarizing research results and compiling in requested format; escalate to supervisor as appropriate File, archive and retrieve documents (paper based and electronic) using filing standards Produce standard correspondence by following existing templates, adhering to client formatting and quality standards; proof read and edit work for syntax, grammar and punctuation Conduct data verification; audit own data entry for accuracy and make required corrections; assist in audit preparation and proceedings for both internal and external auditors Perform outbound calls to clarify the issue, set expectations and/or to expedite or validate resolution of the issue Receives and logs customer circuit issue and ensures proper documentation Performs monitoring, trouble isolation, diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of voice and data circuits of enterprise customers Receives inbound calls from partner telco and NOCs on troubleshooting and repairs done Provides update to customer through multiple customer channels voice call, emails and/or the customer portal Assist in performing tag and locate and tech assist requests of both LEC and c
