Sr Administrator (Support & Operations)

Job Summary

Middleware Engineer Responsible for providing end-to-end operations support for cloud middleware services through monitoring, incident response, and incident resolution for the Public and Private Cloud Platform environment. L2/L3 Operational Support: Management and support of web application technical environment Responsible for supporting Apache Web Server, IBM Web sphere, Jboss, Tomcat, Nginx Web Server, Web logic, Microsoft IIS Web Server, Iplanet Web Server, and IBM Web sphere MQ. Web Application Technical Administration: Responsible for web application health, maintenance, technical security, recovery, and basic technical tuning. Base Web Application Monitoring: Essential ad-hoc manual/script-based detection and notification of critical web application technical items Engineering Support: Management and support of web application technical environment Interface Support: Responding to the technical architecture (mechanics) of RPG, RFC, iDOCs, EDI, XML, etc. requests and issues in support of the application landscape. Create and update capability and service playbooks and runbook documentation as required. Carry out and document Proof of Concept work for middleware components. Develop Infrastructure as code to manage and provision cloud resources.
