Job Summary
. AWS Infrastructure Management
- Provision and manage Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, Route 53, and Elastic Load Balancers (ELB).
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Groups, and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs) to enforce security perimeters.
- Handle AWS backups, automate snapshot lifecycles, and maintain disaster recovery (DR) procedures.
2. Linux Administration & Troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- Act as an escalation point for L1 tickets to resolve kernel panics, package dependencies, storage issues, and OS-level crashes.
- Perform system tuning, capacity planning, and log analysis using command-line tools.
3. Automation & Scripting
- Write and maintain Bash, Shell, or Python scripts to automate daily operational tasks and deployment sequences.
- Utilize configuration management and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
4. Monitoring & Maintenance
- Set up system dashboards and track server health using AWS CloudWatch.
Key Responsibilities
2. To provide support for complex incidents, escalated by analysts, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical & security issues.
3. To work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, training freshers, coaching analyst.
4. To resolve complex tickets within agreed SLAs and collaborate with other support teams to ensure seamless operations & security posture.
5. To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution , minimum rejected resolutions / reopen Cases and mitigating security threats.
