Job Summary
6+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Implementation across OLTP, Oracle RAC & Dataguard. Expert in Database Design activities, including Tablespace organization, and Capacity Planning. Good knowledge of implementing different Backup and Recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager) with various topologies and media managers. Expertise in migrating databases using cross-platform transportable tablespaces, Data Pump (expdp/impdp), and side-by-side upgrade methodologies. Experience in Patch, release management, and database change control processes. Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and Data Guard / Active Data Guard configuration, management, and troubleshooting for high availability and disaster recovery. Good experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control and Automated Workload Repository tools for proactive monitoring. Experience in planning and applying Oracle Patch Set Updates (PSUs, CPUs, and RUs) using OPatch. Upgraded and migrated several servers and databases from lower versions (e.g., 11g, 12c) to higher versions (19c). Manage and maintain schema and database changes across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as lead technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
2. To provide support for complex incidents, escalated by analysts, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical & security issues.
3. To work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, training freshers, coaching analyst.
4. To resolve complex tickets within agreed SLAs and collaborate with other support teams to ensure seamless operations & security posture.
5. To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution , minimum rejected resolutions / reopen Cases and mitigating security threats.
