Job Summary

To offer advanced technical support , troubleshooting and doing root cause analysis to ensure positive customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle DBA L2 Profile:Oracle Database AdministrationShould be ready to work in 24*7 support.Monitoring the tickets and resolving those ticket within SLA.Good Technical, Analytical, Communication and Interpersonal skills.Extensive knowledge of Oracle database architecture (11g/12c/18c/19c).Having good knowledge of database Administration, Oracle Server Installation, Database design, database Migration, backups & recovery, User management, Table space management, Security management.Should have worked in mission critical systems of Oracle 11g and 12c, 18c, 19c databases.Sound Knowledge on Sun Solaris, Linux, HP/UX, and IBM/AIX and windows platform.Experience in creation and maintenance of database instances.Good knowledge of replication tools like oracle Dataguard, Dataguard broker.Experience in Cloning of Database.Experience in quarterly PSU/CPU Patches in Non-Prod/Prod systems.Experience in designing and implementing backup policies.Experience in restore and recovery of Production database within SLA time.Experience in applying rolling patch in RAC.Upgradation of database (Single Instance and RAC) in clustered environment.Responsible for creating a RAC Database as per Requirement.Configuring RMAN (Recovery Manager) for Backup on DISK.Implementing the OS level and database level security as per the Build.Creation and configuration of single instance, physical standby database at different location for the RAC production database.Creation and monitoring of Active Dataguard for real time reporting.Monitoring the database performance and tune the database accordingly.Configuring and solving Client connectivity issue for test, development, and production system.Configuring RMAN setup for taking backup of the database and creating clone database in other hosts.Checking Backup validation by restoring database on test and development servers.Configuring and maintaining ASM instance and DISK GROUPS.Implementation of OEM12c/13c and configure the agent for multiple databases.Managing team and handling and distributing activities within team and addressing the issue part and resolving it.Provide inputs for new configurations for databases and implementation details to clients.Scheduling maintenance activity for databases related to purging and shrinking, parameter change, index rebuilding.Perform database tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASM, Explain Plan, TKPROOF and Enterprise Manager.
