Job Summary

Network Experience Index Dashboard L2 Experience: 6–8 years Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru Support model: Engineering and operational analytics Role purpose: Build and operate a single-pane Network Experience Index that converts multi-domain network telemetry into site, user, application and service-experience insights for proactive and predictive operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities • Define the Network Experience Index model, data dictionary, scoring logic, baseline, thresholds, weightings and drill-down views with network and business stakeholders. • Integrate telemetry from LAN switches, WLC/AP, clients, SD-WAN, circuits, remote access, internet, Cisco Catalyst Center/DNA Center, Meraki, SolarWinds, Datadog and other approved platforms. • Build views for availability, latency, packet loss, jitter, utilisation, interface errors, circuit quality, RF health, client onboarding, RSSI/SNR, retries, channel utilisation, roaming and application-path performance. • Correlate technical health with site criticality, business service, application, user-impact, incidents, changes, CMDB and SLO data. • Develop proactive, preventive and predictive analytics for circuit degradation, AP saturation, Wi-Fi interference, path instability, capacity risk and recurring experience issues. • Configure ServiceNow event/incident integration, enrichment, deduplication, routing and evidence capture; ensure CIs and service relationships are accurate. • Validate data quality, missing telemetry, stale inventory, time synchronisation, API failures and inconsistent naming/tagging; own data-quality remediation. • Create operational, service-management and executive dashboards, trend reports, site comparisons, SLA/SLO views and drill-through analysis. • Work with LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud, application, workplace, security and service desk teams to test root-cause hypotheses and measure remediation outcomes. • Automate collection, normalisation and report generation using APIs, Python, PowerShell, SQL/query languages or platform-native workflows. • Support T1–T5 maturity by improving event intelligence, anomaly detection, recommended actions, closed-loop remediation evidence and learning feedback. • Document dashboard design, metric ownership, support procedures, access controls, release/change process and user guidance.

Skill Requirements

 Technical skills: Network performance and experience analytics; Cisco Catalyst Center/DNA Center and Meraki APIs; SolarWinds; Datadog; ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB; Power BI or equivalent visualisation; REST APIs; JSON; Python/PowerShell; SQL/query languages; telemetry, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow and time-series data; SLO/SLA concepts; data quality and RBAC. Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNA plus strong analytics experience; Cisco automation credential; Datadog or SolarWinds certification; Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst; ServiceNow Certified System Administrator/ITOM credential; ITIL Foundation. Key deliverables and measures: Trusted index and dashboards, telemetry coverage, data freshness/accuracy, alert-noise reduction, predictive use cases, faster MTTD/RCA, user adoption and measurable site/service-experience improvement. Behavioural expectations: Strong analytical storytelling, attention to data quality, stakeholder collaboration, product mindset, documentation discipline and continuous-improvement orientation.
