Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect for Crypto Secure Email (L2) to join our team in Pune or Hyderabad, India. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and enhancing secure email solutions utilizing cryptographic technologies to ensure privacy and compliance. The Architect will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative secure communication systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the architectural design and development of crypto secure email solutions, focusing on Layer 2 (L2) security protocols and advanced cryptographic methods. Develop technical specifications, reference architectures, and integration guides for secure email systems. Work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards. Evaluate and recommend cryptographic algorithms and security frameworks for email protection, including encryption, authentication, and digital signatures. Conduct security risk assessments and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR, IT Act, etc.). Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies in cryptography, blockchain, and secure messaging. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices in secure software development. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical audits for crypto secure email projects. Prepare technical documentation, design diagrams, and architecture presentations for stakeholders. Support troubleshooting and incident response for security-related issues in email systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on security and cryptography. Proven expertise in designing and implementing secure email solutions using cryptographic protocols (e.g., S/MIME, PGP, TLS). Strong understanding of Layer 2 security, blockchain technologies, and secure messaging standards. Hands-on experience with cryptographic libraries, key management, and PKI infrastructure. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, IT Act, etc.) relevant to secure communication. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-based secure email platforms and microservices architecture. Familiarity with blockchain-based messaging and decentralized identity solutions. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous. Previous experience in mentoring teams and conducting technical training sessions.
