Sr Administrator (Support & Operations)

Job Summary

  • Experience on avamar/veeam/cohesity/networker and data domain management.
  • Experience on Quantum & IBM Tape Libraries
  • Supporting various production environments like windows, unix, linux, exchange, oracle and mssql
  • Basic understanding of Netapp filers.
  • Backup implementation of windows, linux and solaris clients.
  • Backup implementation of qtrees (netapp filers).
  • Performs restore of database, exchange, os.
  • Performs integrity restores of various applications/participate in ORTs.
  • L2 troubleshooting and Break/Fix of backup errors.
  • Documentation of best practices.
  • Day to day interaction with various support groups like db services, netbackup L3, wintel support , unix support, nas support & san support
  • Experience on netbackup/comvault/cohesity will be an added advantage
