Job Summary
To write, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code in accordance with time| quality and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN and wireless networks, including strong knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and core networking protocols.
- Proactively monitor, diagnose, and escalate issues impacting the network infrastructure in production environments.
- Utilize network monitoring and ITSM tools such as Remedy for incident tracking and resolution.
- Coordinate with telecom carriers to troubleshoot WAN connectivity issues, manage escalations, and ensure resolution within SLAs.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for telco-related issues and drive them to closure.
- Troubleshoot and escalate advanced network infrastructure issues as required.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to IPsec, NAT, PAT, and GRE tunnels.
Skill Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, and SD‑WAN.
- Advanced expertise in routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS‑IS, and BGP.
- Working knowledge of QoS and multicast technologies.
- Experience resolving complex network problems in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with LAN technologies including VTP and STP.
- Familiarity with gateway redundancy protocols such as HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
- In‑depth understanding of Cisco routers and switches (e.g., 2800, 2900, 3750, 3900, ASR, ISR).
- Good understanding of GRE, IPsec, site‑to‑site VPN, and DMVPN technologies.
- Knowledge of VSS architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting wireless LAN environments, WLCs, and performing IOS upgrades on routers and switches.
- Understanding and troubleshooting of MPLS and Frame Relay technologies.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and ITSM platforms such as Remedy.
- Practical experience with circuit testing.
- Hardware knowledge of platforms such as Cisco 7600, 6500 and 3750, etc.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering fields.
- CCNA Routing & Switching certification (preferrable).
- 3–6 years of technical experience in network engineering or support roles.
