Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager (E3.2) is responsible for leading medium to large-scale IT transformation, transition, infrastructure, application, digital, or managed services projects. The role owns delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, quality, governance, stakeholder engagement, RAID management, financial control, and team leadership. The person is expected to work as a customer-facing delivery leader and ensure projects are completed in line with contractual commitments and organizational standards. Role Summary The Senior Project Manager (E3.2) is responsible for leading medium to large-scale IT transformation, transition, infrastructure, application, digital, or managed services projects. The role owns delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, quality, governance, stakeholder engagement, RAID management, financial control, and team leadership. The person is expected to work as a customer-facing delivery leader and ensure projects are completed in line with contractual commitments and organizational standards. 2. Key Roles & Responsibilities Project Delivery Management• Own the end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.• Create and maintain integrated project plans covering milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.• Drive daily/weekly delivery governance and track actions to closure.• Ensure project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and governance artifacts remain updated. Customer & Stakeholder Management• Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, internal leadership, PMO, delivery teams, and vendors.• Conduct governance reviews, steering committee updates, executive reporting, and escalation discussions.• Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, decision logs, and timely risk visibility.• Build customer confidence through proactive planning, transparent reporting, and issue ownership. Financial & Commercial Management• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, revenue impact, billing inputs, and margin performance.• Identify cost optimization opportunities and support commercial discussions where required.• Support change request/change order process when scope, timeline, or commercials are impacted.• Ensure project financial health is visible through regular tracking and corrective action planning. Resource & Team Management• Lead cross-functional teams across onsite/offshore and multiple geographies.• Drive resource planning, onboarding, allocation, utilization tracking, backup planning, and ramp-up/ramp-down alignment.• Mentor project leads and team members to promote accountability and delivery ownership.• Coordinate with HR, procurement, finance, vendors, and delivery leadership for project staffing needs. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management• Maintain RAID log and ensure risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are reviewed regularly.• Define mitigation plans, owners, target dates, and escalation paths for critical risks/issues.• Track dependencies across customer teams, vendors, internal towers, and support functions.• Escalate blockers in a timely manner with impact, options, and recommended actions. Governance, Reporting & Quality• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports, executive summaries, governance packs, and customer updates.•  Drive adherence to organizational processes, , quality gates.

Transition / Transformation / BAU Handover • Lead transition planning, knowledge transfer, service readiness, operational acceptance, and handover activities. • Coordinate with customer, delivery, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth BAU stabilization. • Define entry/exit criteria for each phase and track closure of readiness gaps. • Ensure runbooks, SOPs, KT sign-offs, and support model documents are prepared and approved.

Preferred Candidate Profile • Experience managing customer-facing delivery in global delivery model across onsite and offshore teams. • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders, complex dependencies, and senior leadership reporting. • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application delivery, transition, transformation, and managed services engagements. • Hands-on governance experience including status reporting, MoM/action tracking, financial reviews, RAID reviews, and customer governance packs. • Ability to convert ambiguous customer needs into structured scope, project plan, deliverables, and operational handover model.
