Role: Digital Workplace Architect / Senior Engineer (L3/L4) – Intel vPro & Fleet Services

Location: India

Role Overview

 A highly skilled Digital Workplace Architect / Senior Engineer (L3/L4) to lead and scale managed services for Intel vPro and Intel Device/Fleet Services across EN and NN customers. A techno-functional architect who can deliver, scale, and monetize Intel vPro-led Digital Workplace services.

This role will be pivotal in:

  • Driving end-to-end service delivery
  • Enabling a self-sustaining revenue stream for HCLTech in collaboration with Intel

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Architect and implement Intel vPro-based Digital Workplace solutions
  • Design and deploy:
    • Intel EMA (Endpoint Management Assistant)
    • AMT (Active Management Technology)
    • Endpoint security and remote management frameworks
  • Define reference architectures for:
    • Enterprise-scale device management
    • Secure remote access and out-of-band management
  • Integrate vPro capabilities with:
    • Microsoft Intune / SCCM / Autopilot
    • Azure AD / Entra ID
    • Zero Trust architectures

Managed Services Delivery

  • Lead L3/L4 support for:
    • Intel vPro environments
    • Fleet management services
  • Establish and optimize:
    • Monitoring, alerting, and automation frameworks
    • Incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Ensure:
    • SLA adherence
    • High availability and service reliability
  • Drive automation-first approach for scalability

Service Offering & Revenue Enablement

  • Build and package:
    • Intel vPro Managed Services offering
    • Device lifecycle and fleet management services
  • Identify and drive:
    • Upsell / cross-sell opportunities
    • New revenue streams within existing EN/NN accounts
  • Support pre-sales in:
    • Solutioning
    • RFP/RFI responses
    • Customer presentations and workshops

Intel Ecosystem Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    • Intel account teams
    • OEM partners (HP, Dell, Lenovo)
  • Align with Intel programs:
    • vPro platform initiatives
    • AIPC / endpoint transformation strategies
  • Co-develop joint GTM strategies with Intel

Innovation & Practice Development

  • Build reusable assets:
    • Playbooks
    • Automation scripts
    • Deployment frameworks
  • Contribute to:
    • Intel Ecosystem growth
    • Thought leadership and POV creation
  • Drive adoption of:
    • AI-driven endpoint management
    • Predictive maintenance and analytics

Skill Requirements

Core Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in:
    • Intel vPro / AMT / EMA
    • Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, Workspace ONE)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows enterprise environments
    • Azure / Entra ID / identity management
    • Networking fundamentals (VPN, firewalls, WAF considerations)
  • Experience with:
    • Zero Trust security models
    • Remote device provisioning and lifecycle management

Architecture & Integration

  • Proven experience designing:
    • Enterprise-scale digital workplace solutions
  • Integration experience across:
    • Cloud + endpoint + security layers
  • Familiarity with:
    • API integrations and automation tools (PowerShell, Python)

Managed Services Expertise

  • Experience in:
    • L3/L4 support roles
    • ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
  • Exposure to:
    • Managed service delivery models
    • SLA/KPI governance

Business & Consulting Skills

  • Ability to:
    • Translate technical solutions into business value
    • Engage with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in:
    • Pre-sales and solutioning
    • Building service offerings

Other Requirements

  • Intel certifications or hands-on deployment experience (vPro/EMA)
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Endpoint Manager)
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience working with:
    • OEM ecosystems (HP, Dell, Lenovo)
    • Large enterprise/global clients

Experience Level

  • 10+ years in Digital Workplace / EUC domain
  • Minimum 3–5 years in architect or senior L3/L4 role
  • Proven record in enterprise-scale deployments
