Job Summary

To ensure on-time resolution of escalations/incidents through efficient analysis as per the SLA, quality norms and ensure positive customer satisfaction and contribute to EN business creation. Role Summary:\r\nNetwork Engineer with hands-on experience in support, operation, Configurations and administration of LAN, WAN, Wireless and Security concepts.\r\nUnderstanding and Performing tasks related to Implementation, configuration of Routers, Switches, Security and Wireless devices. \r\nAnalyse all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.\r\nWork with teammates, clients and other teams to identify and address critical problems\r\nWork on bug tickets for providing the permanent fix for the incidents which are repetitive.\r\nDemonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments\r\nEnough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design.\r\nProvide L3 level support for the incidents.\r\nBuild Knowledge Base documents to support the troubleshooting the complex issues.\r\nKnowledge of standard system tools with the ability to automation complex system tasks through scripting, possibly Python scripting.\r\nStrong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently\r\nShow adaptability and flexibility in work to suit business requirements\r\n \r\n\r\nTechnical / professional qualifications:\r\nSubject matter expert in multivendor enterprise Datacenter and Remote Network\r\nMust have experience on below Networking technologies \r\nCisco Nexus 9k, 7k, 5K, catalyst switches\r\nCisco Routers ASR, ISR, cisco Meraki and WAN optimization products\r\nAruba Wireless Controllers, Access-points and Airwave.\r\nBuilding heatmaps based on provided maps/layouts.\r\nExperience in Cisco Meraki\'s cloud-managed networking solutions, including wireless access points, switches, security appliances\r\nProven experience in Juniper Mist\r\nHands on experience various technologies such as routing protocols and technologies like BGP, OSPF, IP SLA, PBR\r\nSwitching technologies like RSTP, LACP, VPC, VSS, FEX and Nexus 1000v\r\nShould have working experience in administering multiple Datacenters remotely. \r\nShould have sound administrative experience on firewalls like Juniper SRX, NSX and Palo Alto.\r\nCisco ISE for NAC and identity management and Radius and TACACS server.\r\nGood understanding of ITIL based processes, handling and leading any P1 and P2 incident and complex changes within stringent SLA.\r\nCandidate with good troubleshooting in analysing and isolating issues related to LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, VPN.\r\nA good team player can assist other team member in achieving team’s goal together and can assist other tracks as well in speedy resolution incident and problems. \r\nStrong experience with troubleshooting using protocol analysers, complete understanding of Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing concepts\r\nShould have ability to maintain network performance and capacity issues and can advise customer in various service improvement plan.\r\nKnowledge of network documentation including network diagrams, configurations templates, SOP, technical presentations, capacity and uptime reports as required.\r\nGood exposure on Network monitoring, configuration, traffic analysis, network discovery and management tools.\r\n \r\n\r\nCore competencies, knowledge and experience:\r\nIn-depth understanding of technical technologies\r\nExtensive hands-on technical skills to cover installation, configuration, administration and advanced troubleshooting\r\nExperience of working within a Service environment and technical teams of IT experts\r\nExperience of working on ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow), understand ITIL framework \r\nExperience in representation in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings\r\nExperience of being able to highlight issues an

Key Responsibilities

1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning, identification of EN business opportunities.
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
