Job Summary

Operations Engineer III
TouchPoint OnePAM Data Core

The TouchPoint platform is ING’s global marketplace that enables value‑creating interaction between producers and consumers of internal and external services. Within this platform, OnePAM provides the data layer and delivers a single source of truth for party and agreement data across all countries and customer segments.

At the heart of OnePAM is the Data Core platform, hosting all European party and agreement data. OnePAM Data Core ensures stable and resilient operations of ING’s current system of record, built on IBM MDM. The team safeguards platform health, data quality, and operational continuity for critical customer and product data processes.

In parallel, OnePAM Data Core leads the strategic migration from IBM MDM to a new Postgres‑based platform. The team works closely with engineering and architecture to design and execute this transition—balancing reliability with innovation while building ING’s next‑generation Data Core.

• Have experience with large‑scale, high‑availability platforms (24/7, resilience, reliability)
• Perform platform operations (deployments, automation, LCM, support, risk, coding, testing, runbooks, incident/change management, observability, capacity, dependencies, service availability)
• Design reusable automation and tooling for multiple teams
• Participate in standby/on‑call rotations

• Postgres application DBA experience (setup, usage, performance, monitoring, DDL, optimization)
• Linux and shell scripting (Bash / Python)
