Job Summary

To ensure on-time resolution of escalations/complexincidents, provide technical guidance to the team and ensure positive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA.
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning.
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced.
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders

Skill Requirements

Key Responsibilities:\r\n- Manage and administer NetBackup and Metallic/Commvault environments\r\n- Expert in azure infra .\r\n- Troubleshoot all issues and optimize performance\r\n- Design DR strategies and conduct recovery drills\r\n- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python\r\n- Ensure backup security and compliance\r\n- Expert in Veritas appliances (flex/access/5340..etc)\r\nRequired Skills:\r\n- NetBackup 10.x/11.x\r\n- Commvault / Metallic SaaS.\r\n- Microsoft Azure Backup & Storage\r\n- Linux & Windows Server\r\n- Scripting: PowerShell / Bash / Python\r\n-Veritas appliances\r\n\r\nExperience:\r\n7–10 +years in backup domain with 3+ years in L3 role\r\nCertifications (Added Advantage):\r\n- Veritas NetBackup Certification\r\n- Commvault Certified Professional\r\n- Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-305)\r\nKPIs:\r\n- Backup success rate > 99.5%\r\n- SLA adherence\r\n- DR test success
