Job Description – L2.3 Hybrid Azure AD (Entra ID) Engineer Role Overview We are hiring an L2.3 Hybrid Azure AD (Entra ID) Engineer who will operate between L2 and L3 levels, handling advanced support, minor escalations, and proactive identity management across on-prem Active Directory and Azure AD environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Hybrid Identity Operations Manage and support Active Directory & Azure AD (Entra ID) environments Handle user lifecycle management, group access, and RBAC assignments Support Azure AD Connect / Entra Sync operations and monitoring 2. Advanced L2 / Partial L3 Support Troubleshoot moderate to complex identity issues, including: Sync failures and object mismatches Authentication issues (SSO, MFA) Group policy and access-related issues Perform initial root cause analysis (RCA) Escalate critical issues to L3 with detailed diagnostics 3. Authentication & Identity Security Support and manage: SSO integrations (SAML/OAuth/OIDC) MFA and Conditional Access policies Assist in implementing Identity Protection and basic security controls 4. Automation & Process Improvement Execute and maintain PowerShell scripts for routine tasks Automate user/group management and reporting activities Suggest improvements for identity processes and ticket reduction 5. Monitoring & Compliance Monitor Azure AD Connect health, sync alerts, and identity logs Support audit, compliance, and reporting activities Maintain up-to-date documentation and SOPs 6. Collaboration Coordinate with L3 teams, security teams, and application owners S
Key Responsibilities
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning.
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced.
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
