About the Role
We are hiring a strong VDI Practice Expert / Solution Architect who can work closely with customers, understand their business and technical needs, and design modern virtual desktop and digital workplace solutions. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix technologies, automation, DevOps, integrations, and AI-led operations. Ths role is best suited for someone who can combine deep technical knowledge with excellent communication, documentation, and customer-facing consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand business requirements, user needs, applications, security expectations, and operational challenges.
- Design scalable and secure VDI, DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Citrix solutions.
- Innovation with niche product evaluation for the customer value added services.
- Prepare solution design documents, architecture diagrams, migration plans, implementation plans, effort estimates, and technical proposals.
- Lead or support customer workshops, solution presentations, technical discussions, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Provide hands-on implementation and troubleshooting support across AVD, Windows 365, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, FSLogix, image management, networking, identity, and endpoint services.
- Build automation and DevOps-led deployment models using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, REST APIs, and reusable scripts or modules.
- Integrate VDI and digital workplace solutions with ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, monitoring tools, security platforms, enterprise browser, ZTNA, and ITSM workflows.
- Apply AI, AIOps, Copilot, analytics, and intelligent automation concepts to improve monitoring, ticket reduction, self-healing, user experience, capacity planning, and proactive remediation.
- Create reusable practice assets such as reference architectures, assessment templates, migration playbooks, automation scripts, DevOps templates, SOPs, and best-practice guides.
- Work with cloud, network, security, endpoint, automation, DevOps, AI, and service management teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Azure infrastructure, networking, monitoring, and security.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, Citrix Cloud, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, Citrix ADC / NetScaler, HDX, and profile management.
- Experience with FSLogix, golden image management, application delivery, desktop optimization, patching, scaling, and user profile management.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, Microsoft Intune, and hybrid identity models.
- Hands-on automation experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI, REST APIs, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or equivalent tools.
- Experience or strong exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Git, CI/CD pipelines, approval gates, and release management.
- Ability to integrate workplace services with ServiceNow, Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, monitoring platforms, security tools, enterprise browser, ZTNA, and ITSM workflows.
- Exposure to AI / AIOps use cases such as intelligent ticket classification, anomaly detection, self-healing, synthetic monitoring, user experience analytics, and automated remediation.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Skill Requirements
Good to Have
- Experience working in a consulting, system integrator, managed services, product engineering, or practice team environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers through assessment, solution design, migration, implementation, automation, integration, and operations.
- Knowledge of secure digital workplace capabilities such as enterprise browser, secure internet access, ZTNA, SaaS access security, observability, and endpoint security.
- Experience creating reusable accelerators, automation modules, DevOps templates, SOPs, reference architectures, and practice assets.
- Relevant Microsoft, Citrix, Azure, Intune, security, automation, or ITIL certifications.
