Job Summary
Provider to provide resource augmentation to supplement the Client team to perform following activities
- Contract and Purchase/Entitlement data entry and maintenance in SAM toolset
- Software License assignment and allocation tracking for users, devices in SAM tools, and other repositories such
as SaaS administration portals
- Data management activities as related to license reclamation/reuse, asset decommission disposal, asset refresh
(support for full lifecycle SAM data management)
Other SAM toolset related data management activities as required such as software model management,
discovery model management
- Basic compliance reporting of effective license position leveraging SAM tools and license position dashboards
- Software installation / deployment, consumption reporting
- Digital Media library management including license key management
- Be a strategic partner and active participant in the continual improvement of SAM practice including
participation in implementation of process improvement, technology enhancement and new data
- Participation in Vendor audits as required (Client led with support from service provider as needed)
