Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

Should have 4+ years Years of relevant experience on Storage technologies like NetApp, HP 3PAR, INFINIDAT, Brocade Switches, Management Tools – BNA, OCI, Infinimetrics etc.\r\n• Candidate should be able to quickly understand and resolve issues, mitigate risks and dependencies and the ability to drive projects and resources to completion.\r\n• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and documentation skills.\r\n• Should possess certification in HP 3PAR technology.\r\n• Should be able to drive the critical issues and effectively communicate over the calls.\r\n• Willing to work in 24x7 environment with Rotational Shifts.\r\n• Should be ready to work as On-call as per the requirement. \r\n• Identify and Drive Automation Areas and service improvement efforts.\r\n• Should be having good scripting knowledge.\r\n• Actively participate in service improvement plans.\r\n• Monitoring overall functioning of process and identify improvement areas.\r\n• Should be having good scripting knowledge.\r\n• Should have basic knowledge of Linux / VMware etc.

Key Responsibilities

Excellent hands-on experience on NetApp, HP 3PAR, Infinidat, and Brocade DCX switches administration, Management Tools – BNA, OCI, Infinimetrics etc.\r\n• Hands-on experience with NetApp C-mode.\r\n• NAS shares creation, Host Policies. \r\n• Migration On NetApp Metrocluster.\r\n• NetApp Filer configuration, set up, switchover and switchback and snapshots.\r\n• Configure and manage storage pools, CPGs, Virtual volumes & snapshots \r\n• Excellent knowledge of LSAN zones and routing\r\n• Perform Capacity and Performance management\r\n• Design & implement SAN connectivity (single & dual chassis) with Fiber channel switches to overcome any single point of failure for all hosts\r\n• Experience in performance tuning of HP 3PAR system and storage based replication.\r\n• Hands-on experience on Adaptive and Dynamic optimization.\r\n• Develop tiering policies for all hosts and configure as per the standards.\r\n• Experience in tuning virtual volumes.\r\n• Exposure to DR implementation and management

Other Requirements

Prior experience of working in a DevOps / Agile environment will be an advantage.\r\n• Working knowledge on ITSM tool – JIRA\r\n• Knowledge on Cloud technologies like - Azure or AWS would be an added advantage.
