Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

To ensure on-time resolution of escalations/incidents through efficient analysis as per the SLA and quality norms and ensure positive customer satisfaction.

1.Candidate should know the RAC startup sequence process 2. Should handle Node eviction related issues 3. Should understand SCAN listener functionality 4. Should know how the Cache fusion works 5. Should have knowledge in RAC troubleshooting techniques ASM +++ 1. Should have knowledge in ASM architecture 2. Should have experience in adding disk to Existing disk group 3. Should have knowledge in Different types of ASM disk group redundancy level 4. Should have excellent knowledge in ASM Troubleshooting techniques. Data guard: ++++++++++ 1. Should have through knowledge in Data guard environments 2. Should have practical knowledge in building Physical standby environments 3. Should have Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting Data guard related issues. 4. Must have clear understanding of different types of Data guard (Physical/Logical/Snapshot/ADG) 5. Resolving Large GAPS issues Administration: ++++++++++++++ 1. Should have excellent understanding of Basic Architecture 2. How does a SELECT query works 3. Candidate should have knowledge in handling different types of ORA- errors (1555,600,7445, etc) 4. Should have knowledge in Data pump concepts OS ++

Key Responsibilities

 

 

1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA 
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders

 

 

 

Skill Requirements

1. Candidate should be able to manage Oracle DB in Linux OS 2. Should have knowledge in troubleshooting High CPU/Memory related issues 3. Basic OS related commands like VI editor, file permission, File transfer (SCP/FTP)
