Job Summary

- Installation of Oracle Software/Database Pre-requisites. - Oracle Datbase Basic Administration and Latest Features. - Maintain instance parameters and system settings - Migrating databases using various tools such as SQL*Loader, Import/Export and Data pump. - Applying and Testing security patches to the databases. - Managing User Accounts. - Experience in cloning using cold backup, hot-backup and RMAN backup. - Capacity Planing in terms of Growth of Database. - Automated File and Storage Management. - Good knowledge of 10g/11g features as Data Pump, ASM and Flash back recovery. - Experience in basic Performance Tuning and Monitoring using various tools such as AWR,TKPROF and Explain Plan. - Availibility Management for Databases. - Database Resource Management and Task Scheduling. - Scheduling Database Backups,taking Logical Backups & Physical Backups. - Implementing Database Security Policy.
