Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead the Data Protection pod’s Agile delivery, managing initiatives (OKR’s), epics, and stories in JIRA to ensure visibility, alignment, and timely execution.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog reviews and demos.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (infrastructure, storage, applications, compliances) to remove blockers and ensure consistent delivery.
  • Track delivery metrics, manage dependencies and product page, and drive continuous improvement.

 

What you need to have to succeed in this role

 

  • 5+ years (up to 8 years of experience) of Agile leadership in infrastructure product management along with development experience 
  • Knowledge of Data Protection products like NetBackup, Commvault, DD is preferred.
  • Development experience in Python, API, AAP is a plus to help with POD initiatives.
  • Ability to lead agile/scrum ceremonies and backlog management in JIRA
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences
  • Foster positive team dynamics, collaboration, and a culture of transparency and accountability
  • Agile certification such as SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, etc are preferred but not must have.
