Job Summary
Linux-
• Should be Certified RedHat Linux System Administrator and hands-on experience in Linux X64 environment.
• Proven work experience in a Ubuntu, RHEL 7,SUSE and CentOS 7 administration.
• Configure DNS, Postfix, IPTABLES and support SMTP services as required
• Expertise in setting up servers and its configurations.
• Installation,Configuration and Administration of Linux Servers.
• Should have good experience in installing MySQL Databases and Applications in Linux X64 environments.
• Regularly monitor and maintain a log of critical services, performance of servers including monitoring of CPU, disk space, memory utilization.
• Expertise on File System and Logical volume management.
• Client interaction as per project needs.
• Strong knowledge in writing Shell Scripts and Cronjobs for automation.
• Must have an prior experience in installing OS deployments on Desktop Systems.
• Experience in Apache Web Server support and administration.
• Experience in Linux User Administration and management.
• Ability to troubleshoot system level issues related to OS and Database versions.
• Inventory management for all IT assets (Desktops, Laptops etc).
• Hands on experience in Firewall,Yum and RPM.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proven experience in advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
