Job Summary

The Azure Stack HCI L3 Engineer serves as the technical SME responsible for architecture, implementation, optimization, automation, and advanced troubleshooting of Azure Stack HCI environments. The role provides expert support for complex incidents, root cause analysis, and strategic infrastructure initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure Stack HCI environments.Lead cluster implementation, migration, upgrades, and transformation projects.Architect highly available compute, storage, and networking solutions.Administer and optimize Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Cluster Sets, and SDN.Integrate Azure Stack HCI with Azure Arc, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Monitor.Perform advanced troubleshooting for cluster, storage, networking, and performance issues.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and recurring problems.Define security governance, compliance, and hardening standards.Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.Lead firmware lifecycle management and platform upgrades.Collaborate with network, cloud, storage, security, and application teams.Provide technical mentoring and guidance to L1/L2 engineers.Engage with Microsoft and OEM vendors for escalations and solution validation.Develop architecture documentation, SOPs, and operational standards.
