Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)
Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operations, monitoring, administration, troubleshooting, and deployment support of OCI IaaS and PaaS environments. The role includes Windows/Linux administration, DevOps pipeline support, cloud operations, and incident management activities.

Key Responsibilities

OCI IaaS & PaaS Operations

  • Manage OCI Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, VCN, Load Balancers, DNS, WAF, and IAM.
  • Support OCI PaaS services including OKE, API Gateway, Functions, Streaming, and Autonomous Database.
  • Perform provisioning, patching, upgrades, and capacity management.
  • Execute backup, restoration, and DR validation activities.

Windows & Linux Administration

  • Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
  • OS patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance checks.
  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, storage, and OS-level issues.

DevOps & Automation

  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or OCI DevOps.
  • Execute deployments and release activities.
  • Assist with Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
  • Develop and execute operational scripts using PowerShell, Shell, and Python.

Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Monitor OCI Monitoring, Logging Analytics, and Cloud Guard.
  • Handle P2/P3 incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in change implementations and maintenance activities.
  • Escalate complex issues to L3 teams.

Documentation & Governance

  • Create and maintain SOPs, KB articles, and Runbooks.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Maintain asset inventory and cloud documentation.
