Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

Assess, prepare, migrate and validate the 37 in-scope Windows servers using Google Migration Center and Migrate to Virtual Machines.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Windows versions, configurations, dependencies, performance and migration readiness. • Validate prerequisites including NTFS boot volumes, basic disks, DHCP primary NIC, .NET 4.5+, PowerShell 3.0+, free disk space and driver/guest-agent readiness. • Support Migration Center discovery, M2VM setup, pilot, replication, migration waves, cutover and rollback readiness. • Coordinate removal of legacy hypervisor tools before final cutover and validate GCE compute, storage, OS boot, services and connectivity. • Create Windows migration runbooks, issue logs, validation evidence and operational handover documents.
