Job Summary
Job Summary : Job Description for DLP Analyst / Consultant — 1 Resource ## Role Summary The DLP Analyst will support Versant Media’s exploratory DLP assessment and analysis program, focused on Microsoft Purview and CrowdStrike DLP-related data. The role is assessment-oriented and does not include remediation, implementation, policy tuning, configuration changes, deployment, or operational ownership unless separately contracted. ## Key Responsibilities * Review and analyze DLP-related data, dashboards, alerts, reports, logs, and available telemetry from Microsoft Purview and CrowdStrike. * Assess existing DLP documentation, including architecture, runbooks, SOPs, and related materials. * Review current DLP policy configurations and identify gaps based on available data and tool outputs. * Analyze policy alert trends, policy effectiveness, DLP alert handling, and potential data loss scenarios. * Document cases that may require technical remediation in a future phase. * Assess DLP integration with third-party platforms such as SIEM/SOAR, where applicable. * Prepare observations, analysis summaries, risk patterns, and recommendations for Versant review. ## Required Skills / Experience * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and/or CrowdStrike data security telemetry. * Understanding of DLP policies, alerting, sensitive data controls, data loss scenarios, and policy effectiveness analysis. * Ability to analyze logs, dashboards, reports, and alerts to identify trends and potential gaps. * Strong documentation and reporting skills. * Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations is preferred. ---The DLP Analyst will support Versant Media’s exploratory DLP assessment and analysis program, focused on Microsoft Purview and CrowdStrike DLP-related data.
