Job Summary

The Power Platform Administrator is responsible for administering, governing, and supporting the Microsoft Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related services. This hands-on role ensures platform security, stability, and scalability while enabling business teams to build solutions safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will lead platform governance (environments, DLP policies, connectors, capacity, monitoring, and lifecycle management) and help mature a Center of Excellence (CoE) model. The role requires a solid understanding of Azure fundamentals and integrations between Power Platform and Azure services to support secure enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Microsoft Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, CoPilot Studio) across development, test, and production.
  •  Implement and maintain governance standards, including environment strategy, naming conventions, lifecycle management, and platform administration processes.
  •  Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, connector governance, security roles, and tenant-level settings to ensure compliance.
  •  Monitor platform health, usage, capacity, and performance; troubleshoot incidents and drive root-cause resolution.
  •  Support solution delivery by advising makers and development teams on best practices, ALM, security, and performance for apps and flows.
  •  Manage integrations with Azure resources and enterprise systems (e.g., Azure AD, Key Vault, Service Bus, Functions, API Management) as they relate to Power Platform solutions.
  •  Maintain and configure the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit and related reporting/analytics to track adoption, compliance, and value realization.
  •  Develop and maintain administration documentation, standards, and runbooks; provide training and guidance to citizen developers and support teams.

Skill Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  •  3+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  •  Experience with Power Platform governance and administration (environments, DLP, connectors, capacity, monitoring, auditing, and ALM).
  •  Understanding of Azure fundamentals and identity/security concepts (Azure AD, RBAC) and how Power Platform integrates with Azure services.
  •  Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems and services (APIs, connectors, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.).
  •  Experience implementing and operating the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit and driving adoption metrics and compliance reporting.
  •  Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse security model, solution management, and deployment pipelines.
  •  Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues across apps, flows, connectors, gateways, and integrations.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner across IT, security, and business teams.
  •  Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
  •  Preferred: Experience with Power BI administration and governance, including tenant settings and workspace management.
  •  Ability to troubleshoot solution issues and data/logic inconsistencies across the platform and supporting services.
