Job Summary

Experience in managing NetBackup 10.x Master Server, Media Server, and Clients across various Operating System platforms.\\\\r\\\\n· NetBackup Administrator Installation, Configuration and upgrade administration on Windows, UNIX and Linux environments.\\\\r\\\\n· Proficient in Creation and Configuration of backup policies such as file systems, SQL, VMware, Oracle, NDMP for various NetBackup clients for both automated and manual backups.\\\\r\\\\n· Catalog Backups and Importing Images.\\\\r\\\\n· Modify and Optimize backup schedules.\\\\r\\\\n· Monitoring Activity Monitor for any errors in Backups, Restores or any other NetBackup operations.\\\\r\\\\n· Handling Restore Requests for File system, VM restores, NDMP restores, Databases (SQL, Oracle, and DB2) restores, etc.\\\\r\\\\n· Liaising with Hardware Vendor/Symantec support and handling Vendor Escalations.\\\\r\\\\n· Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.
