JD for Windows, VM and Azure LocalJob Title: Storage Administrator – L3Experience: 7-10yearsRole SummaryThe role is responsible for engineering, operations, and lifecycle management of Windows Server platforms, VMware virtual infrastructure, and HCI platforms (VMware vSAN / Azure Stack HCI). The engineer will deliver; performance, security hardening, patching compliance, and incident/problem/change execution aligned with BP HCS operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day operations of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) in a controlled enterprise environment.Operate and administer VMware vSphere ecosystem: ESXi, vCenter, clusters, resource pools, datastores, HA/DRS, and capacity/performance monitoring.Administer HCI platform operations (as applicable): cluster health, upgrades, node expansion/replacement, resiliency checks, storage policies, and performance tuning.Capacity planningWorkload optimization in HCI environmentsExecute routine activities: provisioning, decommissioning, access controls, certificate management, service restarts, and baseline configuration compliance.Maintain secure configuration baselines aligned to enterprise policies:GPO, local security policies, least privileged administrationCredential hygiene, hardening, vulnerability remediationSupport internal/external audit requirements by providing evidence: patch compliance, configuration compliance, access reviews, and operational logs.Perform capacity planning for compute/storage.Execute lifecycle refresh: hardware warranty/maintenance coordination, firmware baselines, ESXi/vCenter version alignment, HCI lifecycle management.Maintain accurate CMDB inputs, platform diagrams, SOPs/runbooks, and operational checklists.Build/maintain knowledge articles for repeat issues and operational tasks.Provide handovers, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to peers and shift teams.
