Job Summary

Job Summary : Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA with strong expertise in database administration, automation using Ansible, and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing SQL database environments, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security compliance, and automating operational tasks through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Database Administration • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL database environments. • Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues. • Manage database backups, restores, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. • Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions. • Perform capacity planning and database health checks. • Ensure database security, auditing, and compliance requirements are met.

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : Automation & Configuration Management • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows. • Automate database provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup validation, and maintenance tasks. • Integrate Ansible with enterprise tools and CI/CD pipelines. • Standardize database deployments and infrastructure configuration management. Python Development • Develop Python scripts for database administration, reporting, monitoring, and automation. • Create tools for database health checks, performance analysis, and alerting. • Build API integrations between databases and enterprise systems. • Automate routine DBA activities and operational tasks.
