Job Summary

To ensure on-time resolution of escalations/incidents through efficient analysis as per the SLA and quality norms and ensure positive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

VMware ESXI Management and Troubleshooting.
• Working on Switching, VLAN, NIC Teaming.
• Management of VMware Guests, Templates, P2V, Capacity Planner, VMotion, DRS, etc.
• Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues
• VMware vSphere support and management
• High level diagnostics & troubleshooting of VMware ESXi hosts or associated technologies
• Troubleshooting and System Administration for OS level support
• HA engineering for architecture on VMware, DRS cluster environment.
• OS / Patch Release management and maintain configuration of Central ESXi OS image.
• Problem Management on VMware ESXi hosts and Virtual Center server
• Performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and managing servers’ resources between VMs.
• Backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers
• Support for physical to virtual environment
• VMware Technologies: VMware High-Availability, VMware vMotion, VMware DRS, VMware vCenter and vCenter Update Manager, and Web console
• Nutanix Virtualization and support of the Infrastructure
• Managing, Maintaining and Securing Nutanix cluster
• Should have knowledge to apply the patches on Nutanix components
• Nutanix VM Management & Migration and AOS 6.5
• Nutanix Management Interfaces (Prism Central, CLI)
• Nutanix License Management & Cluster Security
