Job Title: Test Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products through rigorous testing, defect identification, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze business requirements & functional specs
- Skilled in creating & executing test plans, cases and scripts
- Hands-on with JIRA or any similar tool
- Strong foundation in functional, regression, system and user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and stability.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint ceremonies, and project discussions to stay aligned with project goals
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and clients effectively
- Work with developers, product managers, and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and processes.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM etc.).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Playwright etc.
Key Responsibilities
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
