Job Summary
Job Description – Active Directory Engineer \\\\r\\\\n• Manage and administer Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related identity services.\\\\r\\\\n• Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, access administration, and OU management.\\\\r\\\\n• Ensure AD infrastructure health through regular monitoring, patching, and performance optimization.\\\\r\\\\n• Implement and manage Group Policies (GPOs) for security hardening and configuration standardization.\\\\r\\\\n• Maintain domain controllers, replication health, FSMO roles, and site/subnet configurations.\\\\r\\\\n• Lead troubleshooting of authentication, login, trust relationship, and policy related issues.\\\\r\\\\n• Manage and enhance identity lifecycle processes within AD and hybrid environments.\\\\r\\\\n• Support Azure AD/Entra ID integration, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity sync (AAD Connect).\\\\r\\\\n• Conduct periodic audits of AD security, privileged access, stale objects, and compliance controls.\\\\r\\\\n• Implement best practices for delegation, RBAC, password policies, and access governance.\\\\r\\\\n• Maintain AD documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and recovery procedures.\\\\r\\\\n• Provide L3 support for complex directory, authentication, and security incidents.\\\\r\\\\n• Participate in DR planning, backup validation, and AD forest/domain recovery exercises.\\\\r\\\\n• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams for identity related initiatives.\\\\r\\\\n• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization across identity services.
Key Responsibilities
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
