Job Summary
Role SummaryWe are seeking a JAMF Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep hands‑on experience in enterprise macOS device management using JAMF Pro. The role is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing macOS device lifecycle, security, and compliance in a large‑scale enterprise environment. The JAMF SME will work closely with Endpoint Engineering, Security, Service Desk, and Infrastructure teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable macOS operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end‑to‑end macOS device lifecycle using JAMF Pro, including enrollment, configuration, patching, and decommissioning Design and maintain Configuration Profiles for FileVault encryption, security controls, system settings, and compliance enforcementImplement and support Apple Business Manager (ABM)–based device provisioning and enterprise enrollment workflowsPackage, deploy, and maintain macOS applications using JAMF Policies and Self Service Patch Management & ComplianceOwn JAMF Patch Management for macOS and third‑party applications to ensure security and OS complianceEnsure macOS endpoints meet enterprise security baselines and audit readiness requirementsMonitor device compliance and proactively remediate gaps through policies and scriptsSecurity & IntegrationIntegrate JAMF with Azure AD / Entra ID and related identity platforms where applicableSupport endpoint security implementations including FileVault, endpoint protection tooling, and baseline enforcement Collaborate with Security teams on vulnerability, compliance, and audit initiatives Operations & SupportProvide L2/L3 support for macOS endpoint incidents and requests via ServiceNow Troubleshoot device enrollment, application, and configuration issues across enterprise macOS fleets Support escalations from Service Desk and end‑user teams in global operations Documentation & CollaborationCreate and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles for JAMF operationsWork closely with Endpoint Engineering, Intune/SCCM teams, and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent endpoint experience
Skill Requirements
Strong hands‑on expertise with JAMF Pro (Policies, Smart Groups, Patch Management, Self Service) Enterprise macOS administration and troubleshooting experienceExperience with Configuration Profiles, application packaging, and OS updatesWorking knowledge of Bash scripting for automation and remediation
Other Requirements
Experience integrating JAMF with Microsoft Intune in co‑managed or hybrid environments Exposure to Azure AD / Entra ID and Conditional Access concepts Familiarity with endpoint security standards and audit frameworks
