Job Summary
Mainframe support lead is responsible for leading the mainframe batch support team
Ensuring the relaibilty and performance of mainframe systems and responsible for strategic planning and providing technical guidance to ensure the Batch cycle and Online availablity on time.
coordinate with different set of teams and implementing the best practices to optimize mainframe operations
Key Responsibilities
1.Lead and manage the mainframe support team on batch processing, provide the guidance and mentorship
2. Ensure batch cycle completion and onlinbe avaialblity as per SLA
2.Coordinate with L2/L3 and business for incident updates and communication.
3.Coordinate with cross functional teams to support and provide seamless deliverables
4.Optimize batch jobs (SORT tuning, VSAM/DB2 access paths) and improve resiliency
7.Establish and maintain incident management process, including root cause anlaysis and post incident reviews
8.Create the knowledge articles for the recurring issues and RCA dcoumentation for future refernce until fix are depolyed in production
9.Capacity planning, on-call rotation, SLA management, and reporting to managment
