Senior Alteryx Platform Support Specialist
LOCATION : offshore/Nearshore/Onshore
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Senior Alteryx Platform Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and optimization of Alteryx platform solutions for our Life Sciences and Healthcare clients. Your expertise will directly impact the effectiveness of data analytics and workflow automation, contributing to improved patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This position is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives and maintaining industry-leading standards.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide advanced technical support for Alteryx platform issues, troubleshooting complex incidents and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Monitor and optimize Alteryx workflows, schedules, and server performance to support critical business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities to uphold system integrity and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for platform configuration, support procedures, and best practices.
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues, implementing preventative measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support integration of Alteryx with other enterprise applications and data sources relevant to Life Sciences and Healthcare.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all platform management activities.
- Provide strategic input on future enhancements, capacity planning, and technology adoption.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Alteryx platforms in enterprise environments, preferably within Life Sciences or Healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of Alteryx Designer, Server, and Connect, including deployment, configuration, and administration.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with data analytics, ETL processes, and integration with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, R) and automation tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GxP, and other healthcare standards.
- Relevant Alteryx certifications (e.g., Alteryx Designer Core/Advanced) are strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based Alteryx deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
- Background in Life Sciences data management or healthcare analytics.
- Knowledge of additional data analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Project management experience or certifications (PMP, Agile) are a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. To troubleshoot and resolve critical and complex tickets.
2. To create the root cause analysis for critical issues/faults (hands on working).
3. To implement any necessary preventive measures to reduce future defects.
4. To provide technical assistance to the team members in resolving customer issues.
5. To execute continuous improvement activities and to improve the team’s performance.
