Tableau Senior Developer

Job Summary

The Senior Developer will be responsible for utilizing Tableau and SQL to develop and maintain data visualization solutions. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver insightful analytics and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tableau.
2. Write complex sql queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from databases.
3. Collaborate with teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of tableau dashboards and sql queries.
5. Maintain and enhance existing tableau workbooks and reports.
6. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within tableau visualizations.
7. Stay updated on tableau and sql best practices and recommend process improvements.

Skill Requirements

1. Solid understanding of tableau desktop and server for creating visualizations and dashboards.
2. Strong command of sql for data querying and manipulation.
3. Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and etl processes.
4. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using tableau and sql.
5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Other Requirements

1.Tableau Desktop Certified Professional is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
