Job Summary

The Team Lead for Lending Origination plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficiency and accuracy of banking transactions. This position is responsible for ensuring that the team meets specific objectives while adhering to processes and compliance standards. The Team Lead will guide team members, enhance their skills, and contribute to a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee Adherence To Attendance, Login Hours, And Unscheduled Leave By Conducting Regular Updates And Reviews With The Team To Resolve Issues And Concerns.
2. Implement Strategies For Retaining Team Members Within Agreed Norms Through Engagement And Motivation Initiatives.
3. Foster Skill Development Through Self-Improvement Opportunities And Training Sessions Tailored To Individual Team Member Needs.
4. Manage, Motivate, And Engage Team Members To Enhance Performance And Achieve Higher Levels Of Productivity.
5. Ensure That Team Deliverables And Service Level Agreements Are Consistently Met Through Effective Task Management And Oversight.
6. Participate In Calibration Audits, Providing Feedback To Enhance Team Performance And Compliance With Standards.
7. Handle And Validate Lending Applications By Reviewing Identification And Application Verification Documents, Ensuring Compliance With Banking Regulations.
8. Set Up Loan Facilities, Establish Accounts, And Oversee The Release Of Drawdowns While Resolving Discrepancies And Queries Related To Application Processing.
9. Ensure The Reliability And Consistency Of Data Captured In Banking Systems, Monitoring Data Management Processes For Quality Assurance.
10. Identify Business Data Requirements To Generate Valuable Insights And Support Future Analytical Initiatives While Adhering To Uk Banking Regulatory Standards.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Lending Origination Processes And Banking Operations.
2. Basic Knowledge Of Banking Regulatory Requirements Specific To The Uk.
3. Familiarity With Data Management And Quality Assurance Practices.
4. Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
5. Proficient In Team Management And Motivation Techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
