Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Integrated Command Center (ICC) Lead - Job Description Position Title: SRE - Integrated Command Center (ICC) Lead Department: IT Operations / Site Reliability Engineering / Service Delivery Reports To: Service Delivery Manager POSITION OVERVIEW The SRE - ICC Lead is responsible for leading the Integrated Command Center operations while driving Site Reliability Engineering practices across the organization. This role combines SRE principles with centralized operations management to ensure 24/7 system reliability, rapid incident response, and proactive monitoring of enterprise infrastructure and applications. The ICC Lead serves as the single point of accountability for operational excellence, bridging development, operations, and business stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Integrated Command Center (ICC) Leadership • Lead and manage the Integrated Command Center (ICC) for 24/7 operations monitoring and incident response • Establish ICC governance framework, operating procedures, and escalation matrices • Define and implement unified monitoring dashboards for enterprise-wide visibility • Coordinate cross-functional teams during major incidents and crisis situations • Drive continuous improvement of ICC processes, tools, and capabilities • Manage ICC staffing, shift schedules, and on-call rotations Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practices • Define and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets • Lead reliability engineering initiatives to improve system availability and performance • Design and implement automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems • Drive toil reduction through automation and engineering solutions • Establish reliability standards and best practices across engineering teams • Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives Incident Management & Response • Serve as Incident Commander for major incidents and outages • Establish incident management processes aligned with ITIL 4 practices • Define severity classifications, escalation paths, and communication protocols • Lead war room activities and coordinate technical troubleshooting efforts • Ensure rapid Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) • Drive post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures Observability & Monitoring • Architect and maintain enterprise observability platform (metrics, logs, traces) • Implement proactive monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities • Design comprehensive alerting strategies to reduce noise and alert fatigue • Integrate monitoring tools across hybrid/multi-cloud environments • Develop executive dashboards and operational health scorecards • Ensure end-to-end visibility across application and infrastructure layers Problem Management & Root Cause Analysis • Lead blameless post-mortems and root cause analysis (RCA) sessions • Identify recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes • Maintain Known Error Database (KEDB) and problem records • Track and report on problem management metrics and trends • Collaborate with development teams to address systemic issues Automation & Engineering • Develop automation scripts and tools for operational efficiency • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Ansible, etc. • Build self-service capabilities and runbook automation • Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements for reliability and deployment safety • Create automated remediation playbooks for common
