Job Summary

Name of the role: Distributor Engineer Assistant 
Purpose of the role: Drive efficient distributor onboarding by supporting order fulfillment, technical 
readiness, and certification tracking, ensuring consistency, reducing delays, and improving partner 
experience. 
Designation: Distributor Engineer Assistant 
Work Location: Malaysia
Work model: Remote 

Key Responsibilities

Scope of Work: 
• Support equipment order submission and coordination  
o Assist in Bill of Materials creation for order fulfillment 
o Guide distributors on software and hardware product catalog 
• Track distributor certification progress to ensure compliance 
o Ensure distributor understands certification roadmap and timeline 
o Provide structured weekly status reporting to stakeholders 
• Provide remote support for demo environment setup and readiness 
o Perform remote diagnostics and basic network troubleshooting leveraging 
standardized technical documentation 
o Coordinate timely escalation and resolution across teams 
• Explain or refresh any knowledge gap using existing training materials  
o Coordinate with Distributor technical counterparts to ensure alignment 
o Utilize existing documentation to clarify HPE/Juniper solution functionalities 
Must have: 
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing & switching, IP addressing, subnetting, device 
configuration, static/dynamic routing) 
• High attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables 
• Clear and professional communication (written & verbal) 
• Experience working in cross-functional/global environments  
• Technical academic background 

Skill Requirements

Good to have: 
• Industry-recognized networking certifications (JNCIA-Junos, HPE Aruba ACA, CompTIA 
Network+, CCNA) 
• Foundational understanding of network security (TLS, certificates, encryption) 
• Familiarity with Juniper and HPE networking platforms and solutions 
Behavioral competencies:  
• Ownership mindset (takes accountability for tracking and follow-ups) 
• Proactive problem identification and escalation 
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environments 
• Strong collaboration across geographies and cultures 
Expected results: 
• Drive 100% completion of technical certification plans for assigned distributors within 3 
months 
• Ensure successful demo environment setup for 100% of assigned distributors within 6 
months 
What This Role Is NOT 
• Own account relationship  
• Not development of automation solutions
