Job Summary

The Technical Specialist in Embedded Linux is responsible for leading the design and delivery of innovative solutions in embedded systems. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that products meet the defined scope and high-quality standards, while also enabling the team to stay abreast of new technologies. By leveraging expertise in embedded Linux, the specialist will support and guide projects, provide valuable insights to clients, and facilitate skill development within the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect, Design, And Develop Solutions For Product And Sustenance Delivery In Embedded Linux, Ensuring Alignment With Project Requirements And Quality Standards.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert (Sme), Offering Insights And Guidance On Embedded Linux Technologies To Enhance Project Outcomes.
3. Lead Initiatives For Knowledge Upgradation By Exploring And Integrating New Technologies, Ensuring Solutions Are Current And Meet Client Requirements.
4. Train And Mentor Team Members On Embedded Linux Best Practices, Fostering A Skilled Workforce And Mitigating Delivery Risks.
5. Gather And Analyze Specifications To Develop Tailored Solutions For Client Organizations Based On A Thorough Understanding Of Embedded Systems And Technology.
6. Review Project Deliverables To Ensure They Meet Technical And Quality Standards, Providing Constructive Feedback To The Team.
7. Recommend And Implement Client Value Creation Initiatives By Applying Industry Best Practices In Embedded Linux Development.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert Proficiency In Embedded Linux Systems And Development Processes.
2. Strong Understanding Of Software Architecture And Design For Embedded Applications.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As C And C++ In The Context Of Embedded Systems.
4. Familiarity With Hardware-Software Integration And Performance Optimization Techniques.
5. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Relevant Certifications In Embedded Linux Or Related Technologies Are Optional But Valuable.
2. Certifications Such As Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (Lfce) Or Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (Cese) Are Recommended.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
