Job Summary

Job Summary

The SAP BTP Consultant (Demand) is responsible for handling demand intake, solutioning, development, and BAU support on SAP Business Technology Platform. The role focuses on building scalable solutions, supporting integrations with SuccessFactors and enterprise systems, and ensuring stability and performance of BTP applications.

Key Responsibilities

Key Result Areas (KRA)

  • Analyze and convert business demand requirements into BTP solutions with effort estimation and feasibility
  • Design, develop, and enhance applications using SAP BTP, CAP (Node.js/Java), and BTP services
  • Provide BAU support and issue triaging (incident, problem, change management)
  • Support integrations with SuccessFactors (RCM/ONB/EC), S/4HANA, and external systems using CPI/APIs
  • Perform log analysis, root cause identification, and issue resolution coordination
  • Support testing, deployments, and release management
  • Ensure documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with BTP standards

Skills Required

Technical Skills

  • SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma basics)
  • CAP (Node.js or Java), Workflow / Business Rules
  • SAP CPI, REST / OData APIs
  • SAP HANA / HANA Cloud (basic understanding)
  • CI/CD basics and version control

Functional Exposure (Preferred)

  • SAP SuccessFactors – RCM / ONB / EC
  • Experience in HR or integration-heavy programs

Other Requirements

Others

  • Experience: 6–10 years (minimum 3+ years in SAP BTP)
  • Certification: SAP BTP certification preferred (not mandatory)
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and multitasking ability
  • Experience in handling multiple demand requests + BAU in parallel
