Senior Technical Program Manager – Robotics & Product Operations

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large‑scale, cross‑functional programs spanning product development, operational readiness, and ecosystem scaling for next‑generation robotic systems. This role operates at company‑level scale, partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Operations, and external partners to bring complex, technically ambitious products from concept through global launch.

You will be responsible for end‑to‑end program ownership, driving clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, building durable operational mechanisms, and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver high‑impact outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Own and drive complex, multi‑year technical programs involving hardware, software, systems, and research teams across multiple organizations
  • Lead new product and service launches, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, operations, quality, legal, and supply‑chain stakeholders
  • Establish clear program structure, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics to enable predictable execution at scale

Operational Strategy & Scaling

  • Design and operationalize processes, systems, and governance models that support product development, validation, and launch at Big Tech scale
  • Implement repeatable methodologies to reduce operational cost, improve throughput, and increase quality across projects and services
  • Identify structural gaps and proactively evolve operating models as programs scale in size, complexity, and partner footprint

Technical & Architectural Ownership

  • Drive end‑to‑end technical solution alignment, ensuring architectural consistency across internal platforms and external partner systems
  • Partner with senior engineers and architects to define integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and engagement processes with technical partners
  • Translate high‑level product and research goals into executable technical and operational plans

Data, Quality & Reporting

  • Own productivity, quality, and operational health metrics, including executive‑level reporting and business reviews
  • Use data to surface risks, trade‑offs, and opportunities, enabling informed decision‑making by senior leadership
  • Establish mechanisms to continuously improve quality, reliability, and delivery velocity

Stakeholder & People Leadership

  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across product, engineering, research, and operations without direct authority
  • Act as a people leader / task master, ensuring strong planning, prioritization, execution discipline, and accountability across teams
  • Mentor program managers and contribute to the evolution of program management best practices within the organization

Risk, Readiness & Enablement

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and delivery risks across programs
  • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base and training platform to enable operational readiness, onboarding, and global execution
  • Ensure programs meet readiness standards for launch, scale, and long‑term support

Research & Ecosystem Expansion

  • Work closely with research organizations to transition early‑stage innovations into scalable product and operational workflows
  • Support new business and partner ecosystem growth, enabling engagement with a large and diverse set of external partners
  • Drive alignment between exploratory research and production‑grade product requirements

Skill Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, or Engineering Operations
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross‑org programs in hardware‑software or systems‑heavy environments
  • Strong understanding of product management fundamentals, development lifecycles, and Agile execution models
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑evolving problem spaces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering robotics, autonomous systems, or complex hardware‑software platforms
  • Exposure to robot maintenance, fleet operations, or field support models
  • Experience working with research‑driven teams and scaling early innovations into production systems
  • Prior people management or team‑level leadership experience

Core Competencies

  • Executive‑level communication and influence
  • Systems thinking and architectural judgment
  • Operational rigor at scale
