Technical Architect - Sheet Metal, DFMA, Creo

Job Summary

The Technical Architect will be responsible for sheet metal design, Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA), and utilizing Creo/ProE software. They will lead the technical aspects of projects related to sheet metal design and manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient product development and high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement sheet metal designs with a focus on dfma principles
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to incorporate design requirements and constraints
3. Utilize creo/proe software for modeling, analysis, and simulation of sheet metal components
4. Evaluate and optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and cost-effectiveness
5. Provide technical guidance and expertise on sheet metal design best practices

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sheet metal design principles and techniques
2. In-depth knowledge of design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) methodologies
3. Experience in using creo/proe software for 3d modeling and simulation
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design optimization
5. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Sheet Metal Design, DFMA, or Creo/ProE are a plus

Minimum Salary (US):  87000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
